WATCH: Wolves introduce new head coach Cory Stillman

Watch the Sudbury Wolves introduce the team's new head coach

The Sudbury Wolves introduced the team's new head coach at a press conference this morning at Sudbury Arena.

Former NHLer and, until recently, director of forwards development with Carolina Hurricanes, Cory Stillman, is the new head coach of the Sudbury Wolves.

Andrew Dale, the vice-president of marketing and development for the Pack, confirmed Stillman's hiring to Sudbury.com this morning, prior to the press conference.

Drafted in 1992, during his NHL career, Stillman suited up for the Calgary Flames, St. Louis Blues, Tampa Bay Lightning and Carolina Hurricanes. He's been on two Stanley Cup winning teams.

The announcement the Wolves had hired a new head coach came just a day after the team said it was parting ways with Dave Matsos. On Tuesday, the Wolves said the team and Matsos couldn't come up with a contract agreement and so had "mutually agreed" to part ways.

The formal announcement of Stillman's hiring is at 10:30 a.m. today.
