After letting a three goal lead slip away at home Friday versus the Ottawa 67's, the Sudbury Wolves sought revenge on the Barrie Colts Saturday, winning 4-2 on the road.

The Colts were on the board first with a goal in the first period and another on the power play to start the second period. It was all Sudbury from that point on as the Wolves scored four unanswered goals.

Forwards Kevin Baker and Matt Dias scored for the Wolves to tie the game in the second. Patrik Lusnak broke the tie mid-way through the third period. Marc Stall also tallied an empty net goal to seal the victory.

Goalie Kevin Beech made 25 saves for the win. Michael Hutchinson stopped 34 shots for the Colts. Sudbury went 0-4 on the powerplay while Barrie went 1-3.Despite building up an impressive 3-0 lead in the first period Friday, the Wolves were unable to fend off a determined Ottawa 67's club, eventually losing 4-3 in shoot-out.

Sudbury took it to Ottawa in the first, as Dias popped two goals and Jared Staal connected for his first career OHL goal to give the home side a comfortable lead.

Andrew Self, who was acquired from the Belleville Bulls for a second round draft pick looked comfortable in his first game with the Wolves, registering an assist on the first Dias goal and dropping the gloves with Joe Grimaldi.

In the second period, the Wolves allowed Ottawa to slowly creep back into the game. Scott Cowie scored the lone goal of the frame, giving Ottawa hope.

In the third, Ottawa's Jamie McGinn and Brett Liscomb scored in a span of 59 seconds to tie the game and send the 4,404 in attendance into shock. Overtime settled nothing, so the clubs headed to the shoot out.

Ottawa's McGinn and Liscomb both scored, while Kevin Baker replied for Sudbury. Jonathan D'Aversa was the final shooter for Sudbury, but failed to find the net, sending the 67's into a frenzied celebration.

Overall, Ottawa out shot Sudbury 33 to 18. Sudbury went 2-5 on the power play, while Ottawa went 0-3. Wolves goalie Kevin Beech finished with 29 saves, while his counter part, Brady Morrison stopped 15 shots.

The Wolves are now 13-10-2-2 and sit in second place in the Central Division, one point ahead of the Mississauga Ice Dogs but seven points behind the Colts. The Wolves are tied for second place in the Eastern Conference with the Belleville Bulls.

The Wolves' next game is Tuesday Nov. 28 when the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds come to town. Game time is 7:30 pm.
