It was yet another game where the Sudbury Wolves were unable to recover from a 2-0 deficit, as they fell by a score of 4-1 to the Kingston Frontenacs on Friday night.

The Wolves were slow out of the gates for a second night in a row, falling behind 1-0 late in the first period on a goal by Tyler Burnie.

Kingston would double their lead to 2-0 midway through the second period thanks to a goal off the stick of Jason Robertson. Sudbury responded quickly, with Alan Lyszczarczyk scoring on the power play just a minute and a half later.

That was the closest the Wolves would get though as the Frontenacs tallied twice more in the third period, with Burnie potting his second of the night and Brett Neumann putting the game out of reach to put the home team up 4-1.

Once again, the Wolves found themselves on the wrong end of a lopsided shot total, as the Frontenacs fired 40 shots at the Wolves' net, while Sudbury mustered just 21 shots on goal.

The Wolves will get a day off on Saturday before traveling to Ottawa to take on the 67's in a matinee game that gets underway at 2 p.m.
