The Sudbury Wolves are back on the ice this week for their final home game of the pre-season.

The Sudbury Wolves are back on the ice this week for their final home game of the pre-season.

Thursday’s game features the return of last season’s OHL regular season champion Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds. Tickets are available at the Sudbury Arena Box Office or visit sudburywolves.com.

The Thursday night tune up will be good practice for fans as the Wolves host a lone Thursday night game during the regular season in November. Both teams are coming off the training camp OHL shut down period as players attend NHL Rookie camps throughout the league.

Come out to see some of the young Wolves as they get ready for the regular season. Catch Blake Murray, Anthony Tabak and Quinton Byfield as the young guns look to provide an offensive punch while Liam Ross, Drew Wawrow and Isaak Phillips patrol the blueline.

New this season you can pick your seats anywhere you like, from your phone, tablet or computer in the mobile enabled box office link located here: greatersudbury.ca/tickets. Skip the lines, save time and catch all the action as you cheer on your favourite Wolves this season. Pre-season tickets are only $10.

Following the game Thursday, the team will take to the road for a neutral site game vs. the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies, of the QMJHL, in Timmins at the McIntyre Arena. The Charity Match, hosted by the United Way NEO, Sponsored by Bell Let’s Talk and executed in conjunction with the Timmins Rock of the NOJHL will feature a Wolves Home game and the start of a new pre-season tradition.

Following the game Friday, the Wolves will travel to Sault Ste. Marie to play the Greyhounds Sunday afternoon at 2:07 p.m. at the newly renamed, Memorial Gardens (formerly the Essar Centre).
