Wolves home opener goes this Friday

The Sudbury Wolves will be looking to build off Sunday’s 3-1 win over the Mississauga Steelheads this upcoming weekend as they open the home portion of the 2019-20 schedule.

Quinton Byfield had a big opening weekend picking up six points in three games, including five goals. Blake Murray also had a solid weekend picking up four points in three games.

The Wolves now hit home ice this Friday night when they host the North Bay Battalion at 7 p.m., followed by the Kitchener Rangers on Sunday at 2 p.m.

Friday’s game is sponsored by Desjardins, who will be on hand with prizes and giveaways for lucky fans. Come down early and participate in the pre-game festivities, face painting and TGIF offers including $3 tall boys, $2 Hot Dogs and $1 Popcorn between 6 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. 

The first 1,000 fans will also receive Sudbury Wolves Pop Sockets.

Fans can still enter by visiting one of Your Independent Grocer locations before Sept. 29 for the chance to win. Fans are encouraged to bring their skates after the game to skate with the Wolves as part of Junior Wolves Sundays.
