Tied for second place in the Eastern Conference, the Sudbury Wolves are aiming to put some breathing  room between themselves and other teams in the standings with a victory over the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds Tuesday (Nov. 28).

The Wolves have struggled in recent weeks, with four wins and six losses in November and are looking to end the month on a positive note. This marks the second game between the Greyhounds and Wolves this season. Sudbury won the first game 2-1 Oct. 11.

Sudbury has struggled to earn points on home ice this season, with just five wins in 13 games at the Elgin St. barn. With eight wins and six losses, the Wolves have a better record on the road.

Nick Foligno, with 12 goals and 40 points in 25 games, and Kevin Baker, 13 goals and 30 points in 26 games, are leading the offensive charge for the Wolves this season. With nine goals and 20 assists, Jonathan D'Aversa is second in OHL scoring among defencemen behind Sarnia's Ryan Wilson.

The Greyhounds, despite a better record statistically than Sudbury, sits in fifth place in a competitive Western Conference. They're led offensively by Dustin Jeffrey, with 16 goals and 42 points in 28 games, and by Cody Thornton, who has registered 15 goals and 17 assists in 28 games.

Sault Ste. Marie have been on fire lately with seven wins in their last ten games. A loss to the Ottawa 67's in their last game snapped the Greyhounds' five game winning streak.

Game time is 7:30 at the Sudbury Community Arena.
