Even with a new number one goaltender and a new forward in the line-up, the Sudbury Wolves are still searching for their first win in 2007, dropping a 4-2 decision to the Mississauga Ice Dogs Wednesday night.

Sebastian Dahm made 32 saves in his Wolves debut while Justin Donati was held pointless and was a minus-1. Matt Dias and Kevin Baker scored for the Wolves, who also welcomed captain Marc Staal back into the fold. Staal spent his holidays in Sweden helping Canada win back-to-back-to-back gold medals at the World Junior Hockey Championships.

Donati, Dahm and the rest of the Wolves will aim to right the ship Friday Jan. 12, when Donati's former team, the Toronto St. Michael's Majors, invade the Sudbury Community Arena.

In trade news, Wolves head coach and general manager Mike Foligno made one final attempt to ready his team for the playoffs by acquiring defenceman Zach McCullough from the Owen Sound Attack in exchange for a third round draft pick in 2007.

The six-foot-three, 199 pound McCullough has five goals and nine assists in 39 games with the Attack this season. He will wear the number four in his Wolves debut.
