Wolves lose two of three over the weekend

After beating the Guelph Storm 3-1 Fridy, the Sudbury Wolves lost two straight to wrap up their triple-header weekend road trip. The Wolves were beaten 7-5 by the Erie Otters Saturday and 3-2 by the Toronto St. Michael's Majors Sunday.

After beating the Guelph Storm 3-1 Fridy, the Sudbury Wolves lost two straight to wrap up their triple-header weekend road trip.

The Wolves were beaten 7-5 by the Erie Otters Saturday and 3-2 by the Toronto St. Michael's Majors Sunday.

Goalie Kevin Beech, who had been watching the last few games from the bench, was in form versus Guelph, stopping 18 of 19 shots. Beech was pulled Saturday against the Otters after surrendering five goals on 14 shots. Michael Swick came in aand stopped six of eight shots to finish the game.

Beech was back in net against the Majors. He made 35 saves in the loss.

With a 11-9-1-1 record, the Wolves are in third place in the Central Division. The next game is Friday Nov. 17 when Guelph comes to town. Game time is 7:30 pm.
