Wolves sharpen their fangs for two home games

Barrie visits tonight, while Kitchener rolls into town for a Sunday tilt

At home this weekend, the Sudbury Wolves take on the Barrie Colts and the Kitchener Rangers on Sunday afternoon.

The Sudbury Wolves host the Barrie Colts and Kitchener Rangers this weekend in double-header action at Sudbury Arena. 

The Wolves go head-to-head with their divisional rivals, the Barrie Colts, at 7 p.m. tonight.  They take a break on Saturday and meet up with the Kitchener Rangers at the barn on Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m., the only time Kitchener visits the Nickel City this season.

In Wolves news, Liam Dunda returns from the St. Louis Blues training camp for his first regular season game in a Wolves jersey. 

Led by Cordell James, their captain, and offensive defenceman Matt Brassard and left-winger Anthony Stefano, the Colts are currently 2-0 on the season. 

On Friday night, season ticket holders will receive a complimentary Michael Pezzetta magnetic schedule from the WolfPack Table behind Section 2. Fans will also be able to pick up a 2016/2017 schedule with the purchase of a game program for only $2. (Season ticket holders must show their VIF card in order to pick up their magnetic schedules and receive their free hot dog.)

The Rangers come to town Sunday led by NHL prospects Adam Mascherin (FLA), Connor Bunnaman (PHI), Jeremy Bracco (TOR), Connor Hall (PIT) and goaltender Luke Opilka (STL). 

Sunday is also season ticket holder appreciation day. So show up early, season ticket holders, so you can take advantage of the free barbecue, which starts at noon. The first 500 season ticket holders will receive a free hot dog and drink. 

Not a season ticket holder? No worries, there will be entertainment and fun for all ages Sunday is also family day and all kids 12 and under accompanied by an adult get into the game for only $10.
