For some, one of the biggest pain points in any real estate transaction is the commission. It hurts to have to part with such a substantial amount of money.

In any real estate transaction, there are multiple players with important roles.

Buyer’s agents, for example, are an extremely important part of the selling process. Traditionally, a 5% commission would be split down the middle between the listing agent and the REALTOR® who represents the buyers.

Now with Unreserved they’re literally buying down to listing agents commission by compensating them with a great salary. This allows the sellers to essentially halve the cost of selling their home while still incentivizing the massive REALTOR® community that represents the majority of active buyers.

REALTOR® Didi Martin goes on to explain the savings in greater detail. “Let’s take a $500,000 sale, for example. A 5% commission would cost the sellers $28,250 ($25,000+HST). Now with Unreserved that exact same sale would cost the sellers $1,500 + $12,500 = $14,000+HST.”
