Subarus are the adventure-seeker’s automobile of choice, known for their safety, reliability and modern ingenuity.

Many have been drawn to the Subaru Outback in particular, because it provides such a great experience for drivers, letting you have all of the on- and off-road adventures you’ve ever dreamed of.

New Wilderness Adventure packages are available on the Outback and soon they’ll be introduced with the 2022 Subaru Forester as well. In the future, keep an eye out for even more models to offer this exciting suite of features.

The new Wilderness Adventure package offers new front and rear design, with an increased ride height and enhanced approach and departure angles. It includes new all-terrain tires (with a full-sized spare) to provide enhanced performance on all Canadian roads and trails. Drivers will love the enhanced dual-function X-Mode control, which now operates at higher speeds and helps when driving on icy, muddy or gravel roads. Vehicles with this package also have larger wheel arch mouldings and stylish black accents, which give it a tough and rugged look.

Right now the package is available on the current 2022 Outback Wilderness and most of these features will carry forward with the 2022 Forester Wilderness.

“Seeing the high demand for the Outback Wilderness and how well it has done in the North American market, Subaru saw the need to make it more accessible in our other models, so now the Forester Wilderness is born as well,” says Lynn Renaud, General Sales Manager at Palladino Subaru.

Buyers are loving the rugged styling, along with the all-weather soft-touch upholstery and the Wilderness logo-embossed headrest. The undercarriage features four skid plates for extra protection, which customers also like, along with a towing capability of 1,588 kilograms (3,500 lbs). Certain accessories are available as add-ons from your dealership, such as crossbars and a trailer hitch.

Needless to say, the Wilderness Adventure package is very popular. “We have already seen such high demand when we were taking pre-orders after the model was launched in May of this year. It was sold out months in advance,” says Renaud.

This interest in outdoor adventure is definitely a trend that has only increased even more since Covid. “Being in the outdoors and looking for the next adventure with your Subaru is something that is important to our buyers,” she says. “Subaru really nailed it with their “uncommon” approach to the Wilderness launch—and there’s more on the horizon!”

The Subaru line-up in general certainly offers a versatile mix of models designed to provide customers a range of choices, based on their lifestyle.

Did you know that 97.4% of Subarus sold over the last ten years are still on the road today? And that number is growing. Join the ranks of satisfied Subaru owners today.
