One of Sudbury's most unique homes is for sale.
Joe Stradiotto, 83, purchased the property, which was originally a transmission shop, on Fabbro Street in 1995.
Since that time, he has spent countless hours transforming the narrow property — which sits on the side of a rocky outcropping overlooking The Kingsway — according to his own singular vision, complete with religious symbols, lights and decorative statues.
"I would like it if somebody Roman Catholic (would) buy this place," Stradiotto said, hoping a believer would preserve at least some of his work, particularly the tall cross, which can be lit at night.
Once his home is sold, Stradiotto said he'll move into an apartment and spend his time travelling to visit his three daughters, two of whom live in Italy.
