You know you're curious: Behind the scenes of the Sudbury Firefighters Calendar 2017

Goal is to raise $25K for NEO Kids

Sudbury.com got a sneak peek of the making of the new 2017 Sudbury Firefighters Calendar during a photo shoot on Durham St. on July 7.

Thanks to corporate sponsors, this year's Sudbury Professional Firefighters charity calendar will be printed at no cost. Meaning, all the proceeds will go to the NEO Kids Foundation.

"Our goal this year is $25,000," Sudbury Professional Firefighters Association president Kris Volpel told Sudbury.com.

The owner of Pixatron Photo Studio, and a volunteer firefighter, Mike Blinn, also donated his services.

Organizers asked us not to show the model's face until the calendar is revealed at S.R.O on Sept. 23, so check out the video for a high dose of firefighter abs, pecs and biceps!

For more behind the scenes shots or to find out how you can get a copy of the calendar follow 2017 Sudbury Firefighter Calendar on Facebook.
