It's time to unveil who is our first official winner of our Village Wild monthly video contest, presented by Tourism Skillsnet North!
Thank you to all of our readers who submitted their own personal videos or video links over the past month, the response has been wild (no pun intended).
We're excited to announce that this month's winner -- who was selected at random -- is Jordan Da Silva from Mississauga.
Jordan submitted a link to a great trail cam video, which was uploaded to Ontario Trail Cam Captures' YouTube channel on November 17, 2023, and captures a coyote's eerie but beautiful howling to others in the distance.
The animal, perfectly centred in the frame of the video, seems to be putting on a show for viewers. This trail cam video is the most popular of Ontario Trail Cam Captures, garnering nearly 60,000 views.

How to Participate in Village Wild: Video of the month
Submitting your entry is easy. Simply fill out the submission form and upload your video or add a link to the video along with a brief description.
Each month, our Village Life team will randomly select and announce a Video of the Month award winner. The user who submitted the video will receive a gift card as a token of appreciation for sharing their unique footage with our readers.
