OPP say they closed Highway 17 between Blind River and Spanish around 8 a.m. because of deteriorating weather conditions.
Police say there is no detour and the estimated time of closure is unknown at this time.
Also, 17 is closed from Batchawana to Wawa because of whiteout conditions. There is no detour and no timeframe for reopening.
