A father of three in Elliot Lake who has another child on the way is $900,000 richer after winning big on an instant game.
Peter Squires told staff at the OLG that he is a regular player of The Big and Bigger Spin Instant games.
“I scanned the ticket on the OLG Lottery App and something different appeared that I haven’t seen before,” he told staff at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto. “When I went to the store and realized I won an in-person spin I was so excited! I was yelling around the store.”
The Bigger Spin Instant game is a $10 game combining scratch play with prizes revealed in-store by an animated spinning wheel on the lottery terminal screen and potentially, an in-person spin on The Bigger Spin Wheel at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto.
The contractor and construction worker plans to invest his winnings and save for his children’s education.
