They say in the early morning of Sunday, a woman came to the police station to report a domestic assault.

Police say it was a false allegation and returned home where she assaulted the victim by biting and scratching him.

The male victim ran out of the house with the woman yelling that she would run him over.

She then jumped in her car and accelerated towards the man who ran in a ditch for safety, waiting for police to arrive.

The woman was charged with:

  • Public Mischief
  • Assault – Spousal
  • Dangerous Operation of Motor Vehicle
  • Uttering Threats-Cause death or Bodily Harm – Spousal

She was released on a Promise to Appear and Undertaking

Police say they won't reveal names in order to protect the identity of the victim.
