Police report they have arrested a man after a gun incident on Main St. just before lunch this morning.

Turns out it was a plastic replica pistol.

He's been charged with a number of weapons-related offences. Police aren't releasing his name, but he is 34 years old and from North Bay,

A witness told BayToday, "A man was walking up and down Main Street shouting and he was quite aggressive to all those passing by. I was in the Downtown Variety when I looked out to see him and another man in a baseball cap in the middle of the street and he pulled a gun out of his pants. There were several witnesses. He left on foot and the police apprehended him outside Pizza Pizza shortly after."

The victim was uninjured.

The gunman was held for a bail hearing.
