OPP investigate missing fentanyl patches

OPP are investigating several missing fentanyl patches.

SIOUX LOOKOUT, Ont. – Provincial Police are investigating missing fentanyl patches in Sioux Lookout.

OPP, in a release issued Thursday morning, say there’s upwards of 60 missing fentanyl patches.

There is a risk to the public, as fentanyl is a highly addictive opioid that has caused numerous deaths from overdosing across the country.

Police are asking the public to call the Sioux Lookout OPP Detachment 807-737-2020 or Crime Stoppers 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) if they have any information regarding the whereabouts of the missing drugs.
