The phrase, "I love your patio set!" took on a new meaning over the past week for a local woman.

Police say between June 2nd to June 10th, a thief stole patio furniture and other accessories from the front porches and backyards of four homes on Copeland Street, McIntyre Street West and Strathcona Drive.

Saturday afternoon, following investigations into numerous reports of theft, they arrested a 39-year old woman at her North Bay home and charged her with four counts of theft under $5,000.

Ashley Santos wrote in the comments section, "I live in Ferris ! My boyfriend and I actually caught her at 3 a.m. trying to steal my cement bench and flowers. She was walking down the street with a shopping cart full of people's lawn ornaments and flowers."

She was later released from custody with a court date scheduled for August 8th.

The investigation continues.
