As of early Friday evening, no new forest fires had been confirmed in the northeast region.
The latest update from from Aviation, Forest Fire and Emergency Services reported nine active fires in the region, two of which are not under control at this time.
Wawa 15, located southeast of Eager Lake, is currently not under control at 27.7 hectares.
Hearst 4, which is located north of Constance Lake First Nation, is currently not under control at 2,183 hectares.
Of the other active fires, four are being observed, one is under control, and two are being held.
The fire hazard ranges from low to moderate in the far north and from moderate to high in the rest of the region. An area near Hearst was showing an extreme hazard as of early Friday evening.
