I Was Just Wondering: Fruits or vegetables?

Do you prefer fruits or vegetables? I don’t get much of either since I am kept on a pretty strict diet.

I don’t have to go to the vet very often, so maybe, just maybe, I won’t complain about that.

Mom and Dad really like berries.  Blueberries especially.  Every now and then, I get a blueberry and I love the way it explodes in my mouth when I chew it just right.

They are almost always sweet, but every now and then I get a bitter one and spit it out.  Gag!

I like carrots. I think mom keeps them in the freezer for me and they are cold, crunchy and last longer than a blueberry. I do leave a bit of a mess behind, but clearly not a big issue since Mom still shares them with me.

I understand that they are both healthy options, blah, blah, blah, but I only care about the taste!

So, I was just wondering, what tickles your taste buds more, fruits or vegetable?

“I Was Just Wondering” is a Sunday feature on Sudbury.com from Finn, a Brussels griffon breed of dog, and his “mom”, Jaana Pirnes. Come back next week to see what Finn is up to. Got a question for Finn? You can email him at [email protected].
