My mom’s really good friend, Bonnie, came over for a visit. I haven’t seen her in a long while, so I was quite verbal with her.
She called me grumpy! I was insulted — hmph!
My mom kept telling me to shush and stop it, but both of them did not understand I was trying to tell Bonnie that I missed her.
I realized later that I was also being insulting with my barking. I’m sorry Bonnie. I love you and I would like it if you visited more often.
I also realize that there are many, better ways to communicate, so I should do less barking and more tail wagging.
