If you’re in the market for a summer job and are an Ontario student, Ontario Parks is looking for park rangers this summer.

Applications for the 2024 summer season are open. Ontario Parks has more than 1,600 summer student jobs available across the province.

The deadline to apply is fast-approaching, though. Students who are interested have only until March 12 to get an application in. 

Those interested must meet the following criteria:

Be enrolled in a secondary or post-secondary institution (currently or for the 2024 fall semester), or;

Have graduated within the past six months (for example, if you graduated in December 2023, you can apply for and start a summer student position up until June of the following year);

Be a minimum of 15 years of age. While there is no maximum age limit, some positions may have an age requirement of more than 16 years of age.

You must be a resident of Ontario during the term of employment, but the school you attend doesn’t have to be in Ontario.
