No smoking by-law in bingo halls? Great
idea!
A bingo runs approximately two hours, which
includes a 10-minute break half way through. People can go
outdoors if they need a cigarette.
In regard to the president of Sudbury Food
Bank's concerns that the smoking bylaw will take food out of
the mouths of children, I'm more concerned for "all the
children." Just think of all the well-fed people who smoke and
play bingo. Smoking is not a benefit to anyone.
All children suffer. Everyone suffers.
