On Nov. 30 I went to the bingo hall on Notre
Dame in Sudbury. I was lucky enough to win the hall consolation
prize on the link game that is played throughout Ontario.
The prize payout was $609, but unfortunately
I received only $509.
When the lady who paid me counted it, she did
it so fast I never noticed there was $100 missing. Because the
other regular bingo was starting, I did not take the time to
recount it.
To all bingo players I say make sure the
charity worker counts it twice. We go to bingo to support local
charities and they're the ones who shortage us.
In closing. I want to make sure that this has
no reflections whatsoever on the owner from the old Bingo One.
He was kind enough to tell me what charity was working that
bingo and also the name of the lady in charge.
