The new pet bylaw is not fair. Allowing only
two dogs per household could devastate families who own more
then two dogs. Anyone who owns a dog knows they are not just a
pet, but a member of the family.
How on Earth can someone ask anyone to get
rid of a member of the family? That is cruel and unusual
punishment, especially around Christmas.
And what is going to happen to these animals?
I can almost guaranteed they will go to the SPCA and when they
cannot find homes, they will be killed. How can council ask
anyone to kill a member of the family? What have these
creatures of God ever done to deserve this kind of
treatment?
