The "outside" communities should be billed
for improved fire services, or for that matter any services
they didn't have prior to amalgamation Why should taxpayers in
the former City of Sudbury pay for the improvements?
The "outside" communities have enjoyed low
taxes, but want the same level of services that are available
in the former city. I can understand that. But
by saying they won't pay for increased
services, they say they would not mind me paying for
them.
Let's get on with thinking that what is good
for one community in the end is good for the whole.
