I watched with interest when our young men
and women decided to attempt to establish a new Guinness World
Record for the World's Longest Hockey Game. What a fine group
and what a fine charity to dedicate the proceeds to.
It was great to see Mayor Dave Courtemanche,
Gerry Lougheed Jr. and Mike Foligno throw support behind the
effort, and it was terrific to see all the sponsors identified
and thanked.
What bothered me a little was that the
players who made it all possible were never named and I just
wanted to congratulate them and name them now.
