Sudbury was looking very good as I touched
down on Friday, April 8. Mr. Ruff, my cab driver, filled me in
on some of the recent events and said he had
attended MacLeod Public School, where I was
heading. I was honoured to have been invited to the Guitars
Alive concert on Saturday, April 9.
I was amazed at the number of new buildings
springing up all over town indicating great progress. A twinge
of nostalgia always overcomes me when I
revisit some of the old haunts I frequented
from 1962 to 1980.
The concert was held at Sudbury Secondary
School. It was a full house and I was grateful for the
welcoming applause that greeted me. It was touching to learn
that some people remembered me.
Thank-you Sudburians and Northerners.
