On behalf of the staff, volunteers and clients of the Pregnancy Care Centre and Infant Food Bank, I am pleased to have this opportunity to once again thank so many who supported our annual All I Need for Christmas and Fill a Crib campaign.
The Pregnancy Care Centre and Infant Food Bank presently supports more than 600 registered families by supplementing formula, baby food, diapers, cribs, bassinets, clothes for newborns to size four, maternity clothes, accessories and other infant equipment. Each family can access this support twice every month.
We also teach parenting classes and offer sewing lessons and cooking classes. As new needs arise, we continually review and change our education focus to better meet the needs of each individual.
The centre is not funded by any government program. Instead, we rely on the generosity of our Greater Sudbury community.
Our clients’ demographics consists of many of our working poor, families in crisis, new immigrants and even grandparents who are now raising their grandchildren.
So to all of the companies, employees, unions, schools, church groups, community clubs and the many individuals who so generously support the Pregnancy Care Centre and Infant Food Bank, we are forever grateful for your continued support!
