As a northern community, Sudbury is sorely
lacking in mental health services, and even though it is
increasing its regional realm in the health-care field, this
aspect of our health seems to be completely neglected
especially since the recent downsizing of our local services,
is disproportionate to the demand for mental health care in the
area.
My opinion may not matter much as a "little
person," but I am concerned that the ramifications of further
cutbacks may have serious repercussions on all of us.
