It was with interest we noted a recent guest
column by Erik Lovin of Sudbury. He was promoting his idea of a
new brand for the City of Greater Sudbury.
While we commend Lovin for his initiative,
his so-called brand image is nothing new.
The image, which depicts two silhouette
figures in water, was actually "borrowed" from last year's
Northern Lights Festival Boreal poster.
A brand image for Sudbury? Unlikely. But it
sure made a great poster. And for that, we thank our agency and
festival sponsor, TTC Advertising of Sudbury, for the great
artwork.
