Clayton Drake's recent letter regarding
discrimination at Laurentian University was well written. When
I read the story on Feb. 22, I got the same message he did from
the article. It is not discrimination, but possibly a clash of
cultures and language.
I did notice the young woman's roommate was
also Chinese. Maybe they live in their own little world and
don't want to participate in all the activities around them.
That is no fault of the university.
The people of Sudbury are a welcoming people,
I know I grew up there.
