The Salvation Army Community and Family
Services would like to thank the people of Sudbury for giving
so generously. A special thanks to Edgar
Burton and participating businesses for
collecting 26 tons of food for the Sudbury Food Bank during the
annual business and employee food drive; Sudbury Charities
Foundation; A.C.T. /U.C.T Sudbury members; Bingo One for
raising funds to purchase turkeys for families for Christmas;
T.D Canada Trust for raising $21,000 and the wonderful
selection of toys collected during the T.D. toy drive; and
Canada Waste and Sudbury Transit for very successful food
drives.
Our annual fundraising campaign was a great
success raising more than $57,000. A special thank you to all
for giving. Because of the wonderful outpouring of generosity,
we will be able to provide much needed assistance to the less
fortunate of Sudbury and area. It is only through our combined
efforts that we are able to make a difference in the lives of
others.
