Recently I picked up my children and their
friends at SilverCity and stopped to buy my daughter an Mp3
player at Costco. But I was denied access into the store
because I had too many children with me.
I was told there was a store policy regarding
the number of children who could accompany me into the
store.
I'm insulted that my parenting skills and
ability to control my children and their friends were being
questioned. Was I expected to leave these children behind while
I shopped around the store with only three of them? Some of
them may not have been my children, but they were all my
responsibility.
I've learnt my lesson. I'm leaving the box,
and going back to the mall.
