Although VON Sudbury branch has closed its
doors, many of the VON services continue in the Sudbury
area.
The Ontario Ministry of Health and Long Term
Care has transferred the following programs to VON Canada,
Ontario branch, to ensure the Sudbury community continues to
receive the care and supports they need.
These services are: adult day centre; nurse
practitioner program; caregiver program; supportive housing;
security and reassurance programs; Meals on Wheels; volunteer
transportation; friendly visiting; hospice visiting; and the
volunteer program.
Thanks to all the VON volunteers and staff
who continue to make these programs possible.
