World perspective good for top cop - Tony Sharma

I think sending our top cop to Israel was a great opportunity to see what leads a person to acts of terrorism.

I think sending our top cop to Israel was a great opportunity to see what leads a person to acts of terrorism. I honestly don't believe Sudbury will be a target of international terrorism, but Chief Ian Davidson had the opportunity to see what empowers these young Palestinian boys and girls to use explosives to kill themselves and others in God's name.

Imprisoned by the Middle East nuclear power of Israel, Palestinians have been under occupation for more that two generations. These kids are left with no future, no hope and no land to call their own. They are left with no dignity and are shown no form of dignity.

It's a shame innocent people die on both sides. Israel has the right to exist in peace with its neighbours.

To prevent terrorism, we must first find out why there is hate and what led to it, and then begin to eliminate it.
