As part of her Best Damn Tour, Ontarian Avril Lavigne is stopping in Sudbury on Aug. 5 at 7 pm.
Tickets for the Sudbury Arena show will go on sale to the public on April 5 at noon and are available at the Sudbury Arena Box Office, by phone at 671-3000 or online at www.greatersudbury.ca . Tickets are $59.
Lavigne's Best Damn Thing album was released in April 2007 and is certified platinum in the U.S. It has sold more than 4.5 million copies worldwide. The album was produces by Butch Walker, Dr. Luke, Rob Cavallo and Lavigne's husband, Deryck Whibley. The first single, Girlfriend, reached number one on the Billboard Hot 200. The concert features a live band and dancers.
