Boreal cafeteria offers local produce

A partnership between La Co-operative du Collège Boréal and Eat Local Sudbury Co-operative was announced inside the college’s newly renovated cafeteria on Tuesday. The cafeteria now provides produce, products and supplies purchased locally.

A partnership between La Co-operative du Collège Boréal and Eat Local Sudbury Co-operative was announced inside the college’s newly renovated cafeteria on Tuesday. The cafeteria now provides produce, products and supplies purchased locally.

The cafeteria is furnished with the latest equipment and menus are posted and updated regularly on five LCD screens.

The college is “going green” through a number of means, including gradually replacing dinnerware with recyclable or compostable materials.
