CBC comedy star Lorne Elliott's new one-man show  "Catch Him Before He Croaks" is on tour throughout Ontario for the month of February.

It is a not-too-subtle, but light-hearted reference to the serious heart attack he had last March.  "I haven't quite been able to put into words what happened yet," he says, "but I'm working on turning the experience into some sort of monologue."

Lorne Elliott has spent the past 30 years writing and touring internationally, and over 10 years starring in the weekly radio show Madly Off in all Directions.  His show is coming to the Fraser Auditorium at Laurentian University on Feb. 8 at 8 pm.

Described as one of Canada's most enduring and endearing comedic talents: "fast, foolish and lots of laughs!" (St. John's Telegram); "master of mirth" (Montreal Chronicle); "from the sublime to the ridiculous" (Newfoundland Herald).

Reserved seating tickets for Lorne Elliott's "Catch Him Before He Croaks Tour" are $35 and available from the Sudbury Theatre Centre box office or by calling 674-8381.  For more information, pictures and comedy clips, visit www.shantero.com or www.lorne-elliott.com .
