The United Way is asking the community to donate gently worn coats during the month of October to Sudbury Steam, Uptown Cleaners, Bright Spot, Starlight and Chelmsford Cleaners.

Coats will be distributed to needy families at the Rainbow Centre during the last week of October and the first two weeks of November. About 4,000 winter coats were collected and distributed last year for both children and adults.

The Coats for Kids program has served the community for 24 years. For more information phone Linda Dupuis at the United Way at 560-3330, ext 222.
