Juno nominee Corin Raymond will present his critically acclaimed 60-minute spoken word show, "Bookmarks,” followed by a set of his original music on Jan. 13 at 7:30 p.m. in a private home in Sudbury.

A concert this Saturday will feature both storytelling and music from a Juno-nominated singer-songwriter.

Corin Raymond will present his critically acclaimed 60-minute spoken word show, "Bookmarks,” followed by a set of his original music on Jan. 13 at 7:30 p.m. in a private home in Sudbury.

Anyone can attend. Tickets are available online and are selling quickly.

Bookmarks is a poignant monologue memoir that will be a treat for bookworms or for anyone who's ever lost someone or something they loved.

It won Storytelling/Spoken Word Favourite at the 2022 Victoria Fringe and was rated four and a half out of five stars at the Winnipeg Fringe.

Raymond is a full-time singer/songwriter with four solo albums, the latest of which, "Dirty Mansions", was released in 2019. His "Hobo Jungle Fever Dreams,” released in 2015, was nominated for a Juno.

Raymond’s first spoken word show "Bookworm" was named Pick of the Fringe in Vancouver 2012. His follow-up, "The Great Canadian Tire Money Caper", told the story of how Raymond paid for the making of an entire double album with Canadian Tire money.

Raymond has toured the length and breadth of Canada and across the globe, and his songs are being covered by artists like The Good Lovelies, The Strumbellas and many more.

The venue is intimate with great sound and lighting, but the concert will also be streamed live over the internet.

Online tickets will allow the show to be watched on demand anytime, anywhere, either during the live performance or afterwards. Online tickets can be purchased here
