At 13 years old, “junior accordion maestro” Emmanuel Gasser is putting out his second CD.

His new CD, financed by Gasser himself, Bringing Happiness to You, will be released at the Jubilee Centre on June 13 at 1:30 p.m.

Gasser has been writing his own music for about three years, and has written 30 original compositions, according to a press release from the Jubilee Centre.

According to Gasser's music tutor, Iona Reed-Pukara, Gasser is “an exciting new talent, a rising young star on the music scene.”

Gasser plays various types of music, and likes to promote the accordion as “an instrument with endless possibilities.” Gasser's first CD, Horsing Around with Cowboy Emmanuel Gasser, was released in February 2008.

The young musician has received three gold certificates at the Sudbury Kiwanis Music Festival in 2007, 2008 and 2009.

Tickets to his CD release are $8 at the door. For more information, phone 867-2926 or 674-5534.
