The magical harmonies of Quartette will again resound Saturday, Nov. 25th in the acoustic warmth of St. Andrew's Place.
Presented by St. Andrew's United Church, in affiliation with
Affinity Concerts, this show is sure to be a crowd pleaser.
Quartette last played to a packed house at St. Andrew's Place
six years ago.
Quartette is composed of musical legend Sylvia Tyson, bluegrass
specialist Caitlin Hanford, country songstress Cindy Church and
the multi-talented Gwen Swick. Quartette will also be
accompanied by two or three side players at the Sudbury show.
St. Andrew's Place is known as one of the finest music halls in
Sudbury. With $70,000 in sound equipment at this concert,
attendees are guaranteed a fine listening experience.
Award winning folkgrass band General Store will kick this show
off with their spirited harmonies and solid musicianship. This
five-piece central Ontario band are known for their strong
stage presence and their delivery of bluegrass tinged music.
Their five-song intro set will include folk and gospel "grassed
up" in addition to one or two bluegrass favourites.
Tickets for the concert are moving quickly. It will take place
Saturday, Nov. 25th at 7:30 pm at St. Andrews' Place, 111 Larch
