Garlic festival ready to roll

Anne Dolhy (left) and Stephania Buba prepare cabbage rolls for the Garlic Festival, which will take place Sunday at 11 a.m., at the Ukrainian Seniors’ Centre on Notre Dame Avenue.

There will be plenty of garlic-laced foods provided by vendors. Entertainment throughout the day will be provided by the Zorya Ukrainian Dancers from North Bay, the Sudbury Ukrainian National Federation School of Dance, the St. Mary’s Ukrainian Dance Ensemble, and Nasha Rodyna.

There will also be psychic readings by Margaret Heinrichs. Admission is $2 and includes a chance to win prizes. For more information phone 673-7404.
