“It should be a good, loud, rock n' roll show,” Ryan Hutcheson, the band's lead guitarist said.

The foursome, hailing from the greater Cobourg area, have been playing together since high school. Since forming the Gentleman Husbands three years ago, they “have been hammering pretty hard ever since.”

Hutcheson said each of the band's members used to play in other groups, making there sound is just as diverse as the boys.

“We try to keep it from being too classic rock,” Hutcheson said. “A lot of people get a bluesy or country vibe from it, which I don't think is so intentional any more, but there's definitely that sound there. A lot of people also hear a bit of a punk sound sneaking its way in there, because we were all in heavier bands before.”

Earlier this year, Gentleman Husbands toured the east coast with the Bad Ideas.  Putting on two to three shows per week, Hutcheson said the band is getting close to a point where music will be a full-time job.

“It's pretty all-consuming as it is right now,” he said. “We just need the right team in place to make that happen.”

They have released a number of EP albums, and their latest is due out in September.
