Going bald raises money for cancer research

Six employees from the Electrical Safety Authority's northern region office shaved their heads to show support for those fighting cancer, and in the process raised $11,010 for cancer research.

Six employees from the Electrical Safety Authority's northern region office shaved their heads to show support for those fighting cancer, and in the process raised $11,010 for cancer research.

The six employees raised $5510, and the Electrical Safety Authority (ESA) matched their donations.

A cheque was presented by ESA to Maureen Lacroix, chair for the Northern Cancer Research Foundation (NCRF) board of directors, on Oct. 5, at the ESA Sudbury office.
