Life doesn't end at the age of 55: just ask 78-year-old Al Leach. He's one of the nearly 400 members of the Caruso Club's Golden Age Seniors.

The group of individuals aged 55 and up is getting ready for its 30th anniversary, which is set to take place on June 18 at the Caruso Club. Although plans are still in the works, he's encouraging all local seniors, both male and female, and from all different backgrounds and walks of life, to become a member now.

He points out that for just $5, anyone can become a member, and they'll get to attend a dance with music provided by Rick Stone, as well as attend a special dinner every third Wednesday of the month.

"It's the healthiest thing for them if they're dancing once a month," he explains. "If not, they're missing a darn good meal, good dancing, and a lot of fun. You get to meet a lot of old friends and you make some new ones, so it's a great time."
