Laurentian University's department of music has announced Guerilla Music, which will be taking place randomly throughout the rest of the academic year.

In order to celebrate the department of music's arrival in the new School of Education building, the department came up with the idea that music could turn up here and there on campus, at any place, and at pretty much any time during the year without warning, a press release stated.

These Guerilla Music activities will be performed by music students and/or music faculty members of Laurentian University. The guerillas will perform in places generally open to the public, such as hallways, lounges, dining halls, lawns, etc.

Questions or concerns can be directed to Dr. Yoko Hirota, chair of the department of music, at 657-1151 ext. 2522 or by e-mail at [email protected] .
